Explorer Diorams
I wanted the children to not only used recycled materials to create an artwork (using a shoe box) but also create a hands on, creative way to share and show their Explorer research. This term we have focused on the Explorer 'Ihenga', but we have also looked at other famous explorers. Some children had bonding time with their families creating these- which I thought was fabulous. This is the first time creating diorama, and I will certainly use them again. I was impressed with the children's creativity and enthusiasm for the Diorama projects.
